Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don’t would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. And all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to tell whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank that allows them to mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in.  Continued  in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little misses in corners and on walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help easily keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine There are many alternatives on the market, including a lot of eufy models that cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides an identical experience on the app with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it started.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with heavy materials such as cereal.
